November 7th - November 10th

Welcome to the start of conference week. Please look at the the link to the Conference schedule for a reminder.

We will not be having spelling this week or Reading Menu. I would like students to be working on their book reports due next Monday, November 14th.

Reminder that Wednesday AND Thursday are early release at 1:00 days, and there is NO SCHOOL on Friday, November 11th.

The week of November 15th - 19th is conference week and we will all be early release days leading up to the Fall break. We will have no school November 21st - 25th. Students return to class November 28th.

In math we started Multiplication and we will be continuing on to the math facts this week in Chapter 5. Students should continue to practice with flash cards at home to learn to quickly identify the answers to multiplication problems.

Monday:
Chapter 5-1
2 and 5 as a Factor

Tuesday:
Chapter 5-2
9 as a Factor

Wednesday:
Chapter 5-3
Multiplying with 0 and 1

Thursday:
No homework

Social Studies:
We will be starting on Tuesday our first lesson in Social Studies. They will not have a grade on the report card for Social Studies as we have no samples for the grading period.

The Unit A Science test has been moved from last week to Monday. We will be finishing up the Science for awhile to start working on Social Studies in class.
