Welcome parents and guardians to the 2016 -2017-school
year at Northwood Elementary School. It is a joy to have your child in this
class. I look forward to meeting you all and getting to know my students. This
school year marks my 10th year teaching here at Northwood.
Your
child has brought home a lot of paper work that needs to be completed by you
and returned as soon as possible. Please make sure that they are signed and
initials where required. Emergency forms were mailed home this summer please
let me know if you did not receive one.
The
students have received a daily planner to keep track of all their homework
assignments. One requirement is to have an initial next to the day to show me
that they are sharing with you their homework assignments.
Reminder that birthday
celebrations are once a month, and not on the day of the birthday. We will be
combining the month birthdays with the rest of 3rd grade once a
month. More information will be given at Back to School Night.
Back
to School Night is going to be in September 14th.
Thursdays
are early release day at 1:00 P.M. Flag Salute meetings will be held once a
month now. They are not weekly.
