This week we will be starting our Chocolate Touch novel unit, but first we will work on King Midas to show the connection between the two stories. Students will be working on reading comprehension, writing activities, art projects, and learning new spelling and vocabulary words.
Last week we had wanted to finish our group science assignment on the animal habitats, but we had some CELDT testing and now this week we will be presenting the final visual project.
This Friday we will be having our Chapter 2 math test. This chapter is filled with properties of operations in addition, and estimating sums and differences. Practice rounding numbers and working on remembering the halfway number on a number line.
If you had requested the math textbook you can access that information online. Students were given their user name and password to log in to Pearson Realize. On this website you will find the student textbook as well as some exciting math tools.
